like for real i love tom a lot but i love him the most when he’s being unexpectedly sincere (which could also fall under “sincerely goofy” as in tommy timberlake) and his interactions with ann in the past have brought that out, so why would you do the opposite of that

i've been trying to articulate my thoughts on...
but tbh that episode just made me realize some very obvious things about steven moffat:
he really likes dudes w/ british accents who are narrative black holes in their own fictional universes
he also likes awesome ladies well enough, in theory
but especially when those awesome ladies prove for the umpteenth time how gr8 his narrative black holes are, provide gr8 twists, or all of the above
